Markaz finished ahead of both Here Comes When and COULSTY (NAP) in a Group 2 at Newmarket in October. But the latter had won this race earlier in the year when beating higher rated horses and should make another bold bid as Richard Hannon's charge has a run under his belt this time round. He's preferred to stablemate Emell but Home Of The Brave is capable of going close on last year's best form over today's trip. Johnny Barnes was not the most consistent last season but still picked-up a Group 3 race in France while Code Red won a Listed contest at Epsom during the summer. Mitchum Swagger and Convey have more scope than most and are preferred of the remainder.
