Verdict

EDDIEMAURICE won on similar going at Thirsk and Beverley during the summer. He was only beaten a couple of lengths in a better race than this at Thirsk last time and, with Cam Hardie's claim a massive plus, should have too much for these. Penny's Boy can chase him home as he won over this trip at Ffos Las in July, though Run Fat Lass Run has been running well enough to merit consideration and last month's Carlisle runner-up World Record is probably worth another try over this longer distance.
