In depth

Verdict

A chance is taken SPEED COMPANY takes to hurdling. A smart handicapper on the Flat when winning five times and rated 99, he may well prove a cut above these. Bumper winner Melangerie should be sharper for a recent hurdles debut at Worcester while point-to-point winner Doc Carver ran well at Bangor on his hurdling bow. Destrier may do better now jumping having failed to figure in a bumper earlier in the year while Voodoo Doll is a newcomer to note and is preferred to stablemate Yellow Kangaroo.
