    Verdict

Carbon is improving with experience and just came up short over course and distance earlier this month. But there was a lot to like about MYTHICAL DANCER’s defeat of a previous winner at Thirsk as he kept finding in the closing stages, despite showing signs of inexperience. Mr Stanley was easy to back on debut at Brighton but only headed in the closing stages by a more experienced rival and will know more today.
