SENNOCKIAN STORM emerged from a lengthy run of dreadful results to run out a decisive winner of an ordinary Brighton handicap last time. The key to this dramatic improvement appears to have been a major step-up in trip to a mile and a half. The Storm Cat filly escapes a penalty for that apprentice handicap success and it's worth chancing she can repeat the dose off a tempting mark. Fossgate's ability burns brightly at the age of ten and he must be taken seriously in his current form if turning up after yesterday's exertions at Musselburgh. The remainder have some sort of chance and Cornish Beau makes appeal at a value price. He doesn't own the most consistent set of form figures, but is down to a potentially attractive mark of 65
