Coppice, Fabrian and Basserah are three against the field in this wide open affair and the tentative vote is given to Coppice. The selection won with a shade in hand last time out when beating Logsdail and although he has a penalty for that win he still looks ahead of the handicapper and under conditions that suit he will be hard to beat. Fabrian rates the main danger on his latest second behind Logsdail but on a line through that horse he has a little to find with the selection and for that reason he is opposed. Basserah is another worthy of respect on his latest second behind Cross The Line. That form has since been franked and he has definite place claims. Elidore also won well last time out when beating Taminoula but this is more competitive and he may struggle under his penalty. Of the remainder, Our Teddy is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but he looks weighted up to his best and could be vulnerable to a less-exposed type. We will therefore return to Coppice who is progressing in the right direction as our idea of the winner.
