      Verdict

      Craft In Silk is still a maiden but made a bold bid to make all in a four-runner race at Newmarket a fortnight ago. SHIMMERING SANDS (NAP) looked one to follow when scoring easily at Beverley but pulled much too hard at Doncaster next time. He's only had six runs and may be capable of better. Control has never won but takes a slight drop in class while another maiden, King Of The Kippax, reverts to his best trip.
