It wasn't the greatest of races that MILES TO MEMPHIS won at Fontwell on his hurdling debut but the unbeaten bumper winner did it in style and looks a fair bit better than this. Jebril won twice on the Flat and defied a last-flight error to make a successful start over timber at Plumpton and can only improve. Edgar was in touch for a long way before fading at Stratford in June and he's virtually guaranteed to improve while Shotgun Paddy's half-brother Fingers Crossed is one to keep an eye on for the future. Spice Fair is rated 86 on the Flat with seven victories to his credit but will probably need further in time.
