Nawamees is taken to score ahead of Fabrian. Gary Moore's dual-performer comes here having finished a respectable fifth in a better race at York and should be capable of taking advantage of this lower grade. Stamina is his forte so he wouldn't want this race to become tactical so assuming he isn't held up too far off the pace, he should be able to put his stamina to good use in the closing stages. Tufton was unable to reward favourite backers when last seen in a claimer so he cannot be put forward with much confidence, so of more interest may be Hall Of Fame. One of three three-year-olds in the field, he needs to step up on past efforts but Charlie Mann's charge may have more to give. Fabrian is a course and distance winner and turned out just three days after a fair run at Sandown and now upped in trip and down in grade, a big run should be expected. At a price Rosie's Glory could run a big race, however Nawamees gets our nomination.
