    Verdict

DESERT made a winning handicap debut when scoring at Nottingham and can go close again with Jim Crowley taking over the reins. She’s preferred to stablemate Sows and is weighted to reverse earlier running with Adaay In Asia. The latter makes her handicap debut having won twice on the Polytrack at Lingfield while the likes of La Feile, Hester Prynne and Red Joan are others handicapping for the first time. Ye Gud Thing finished in front of Bluebell Way when going close in a Newbury nursery with Rosa Mystica another to note in an open contest.
