Verdict

This is a very competitive seller and after a fair bit of searching we have come up with Dmitri as the possible winner, Motu and The Gaikwar are also expected to run well. The selection has had a fruitless spell over hurdles this winter and was well beaten on his return to the flat at Chepstow last time. However if you go back eighteen months he was taking on much better opposition than this, in fact he finished second in a class D handicap over a mile here. He may well have regressed since then but if he retains half of his ability he should be capable of going close here. Motu has been running well of late and put in another sound performance when a close up fourth behind Night Wolf at Brighton, he should be in there fighting at the death. Meanwhile The Gaikwar has had a good winter campaign and ran well in a much better race at Chepstow last time. He should be capable of getting into the places. St Ivian could do best of the others but Dmitri looks the value bet in a wide open contest.
