The betting suggested Panko would return to winning ways at Goodwood last week and he duly obliged. He carries 5lb extra today but Albizzia was less successful when sent off joint-favourite at Goodwood last time though soft going may have been a legitimate excuse. ESSPEEGEE has now won six of his last seven starts and, given the ease of last month’s victory at Brighton, Alan Bailey’s charge hasn’t stopped improving yet. Gravity Wave drops back to his winning trip after finishing second over 1m6f but Paddy A has recorded both wins so far on the all-weather.
