      Verdict

      May's Boy isn't badly treated on his all-weather form and would be interesting if translating recent improvement to the turf. Shostakovich is only a pound higher than when winning at Ffos Las 11 days ago and Red Marling is beginning to knock on the door. City Legend bounced back to form when second at Warwick but there is almost certainly more to come from LIGHTNING CLOUD. Kevin Ryan's grey left last year's form well behind when skating up in a Southwell maiden last month and could easily make a mockery of his current mark.
