    Verdict

Lechro was narrowly beaten on the Flat at Hamilton then by a head on her hurdling bow at Fakenham. ASA wasn't beaten far in what looked a decent maiden on very testing ground at Toulouse in the summer and the champion jockey rides so she gets the nod. Toute Chic, three-times a winner on the Flat in France, finished tailed off on her hurdling debut at Fakenham when Miss Fedora pulled up. Paddy's Fancy has a superb pedigree for the Flat but hasn't shown anything.
