Plenty of deadwood in this and only a handful can be given a serious chance. Veda's Rainbow has shown enough in maidens to merit consideration in this, most notably when beaten less than four-lengths behind subsequent Group 1 winner Sulk at Salisbury last year. She has clearly gone downhill since then, but the drop into this grade may well do the trick. Pocket Style, out of a mare that won over this distance, should be suited by the step up in trip, while Freya Alex is another who should run well, despite having something to find at the weights.
