        Verdict

        MALJAA only does just enough to get his head in front but keeps winning and none of today's opposition arrive in great form. Roger Varian's sprinter may well have enough improvement left in him to defy a further 5lb rise and should confirm latest running at Haydock with Dungannon. Normal Equilibrium continues to slide down the weights but is getting no nearer and was just behind eighth-placed Kimberella at Ascot last time while Rural Celebration never threatened behind Go Far in the Ayr Bronze Cup last month. Astrophysics has shown little in only two outings this term but was beaten only a head in last season's Group 2 Flying Childers and could bounce back at any time.
