Verdict
Un Anjou only won by a length at Warwick on Sunday and has picked up a 7lb penalty while Edlomond's victory at Towcester was in a claiming hurdle and he's not shown a great deal over fences so far. This may be an insufficient test of stamina for Warwick runner-up Sonofagun on the ground, though he could run on into a place. BERTIE'S DESIRE left his chasing debut well behind when second at Huntingdon. Any further improvement should see him tough to beat here as The Last Night has a lengthy absence to overcome and Fitandproperjob looks thoroughly exposed.
