This is quite a weak fillies handicap that may fall to Fair Compton, with Sharoura and Bint Royal just two of many dangers. Richard Hannon's filly is nothing special but showed tremendous courage to to the better of I Wish at Lingfield last time. this event is no stronger so she must hold obvious claims. Sharoura hails from a top yard and put up a decent effort at Ayr last time finishing third to Locombe Hill. That event was over the seven furlong trip, so it was a good performance as all of her recent victories have come over today's distance. Bint Royal was a couple of lengths superior to Shourara at Carlisle recently, but at today's weights Richard Fahey's filly may just have the edge. Best of the others could be the selection's stable companion Missus Links, but there was a lot to like about Fair Compton's victory last time and she can follow up today.
