2010 Mill Reef winner Temple Meads is the highest rated but showed little on his comeback in May and has to prove he retains all his ability. AMOUR PROPRE looks a safer proposition as this is easier than his latest task behind Ortensia in a Group 2 sprint at Goodwood and last year's defeat of Sole Power at the Curragh is the best piece of form on offer. Ballista made all over 6f at Chester last time but is likely to be taken on for the lead by La Fortunata here. That should set the race up nicely for the selection and Swiss Cross as the latter finished strongly from off the pace at Epsom last month. A winner in Argentina, it's hard to assess the ability of Ubetterbegood on his first start for new connections and the remainder have a bit to find on today's terms.
