After finding one too good on his last couple of starts, Freddy With A Y is now 12lb higher than when winning at Salisbury in May. Brazen is preferred dropping back down to a more suitable grade and Fortinbrass won with something in hand at Epsom last time. Gravitational has been raised 6lb for finishing second at Haydock but Red Refraction has gone up only 5lb for his narrow-margin victory at Ascot. Port Alfred won a maiden over the minimum trip here easily enough but SECRET WEAPON was an even more impressive winner at Salisbury and he gets the vote.
