In depth

Verdict

A tough race to call here for punters with very little between many of the leading lights but the principals look to be Fisherman Jack, Surfboard and Jacarado and the narrow nomination is given to Surfboard. The selection won well last time out when beating Ballyaanbutt and although having a penalty for that win he again has his optimum conditions and he looks the one to be on. Fisherman Jack rates the main danger on his latest second behind Casalani but he is often let down by his jumping and at likely odds he looks worth taking on. Jacarado is another that could go well on his best form but he was pulled up for no apparent reason last time out so can not be put forward with any confidence. Of the remainder Avadi could improve for the fitting of first time chhekpecies and should be noted in the market but for the winner we return to Surfboard to small stakes.
