    Verdict

    Spirit Ridge won a handicap here a year ago and returned to form with a narrow defeat at Newmarket last month but has never raced on ground with soft in the description. GETCHAGETCHAGETCHA scored on good to soft here in June and ran well on heavy going at Goodwood last time so gets the vote in a tight little handicap. Indianapolis landed a Class 3 handicap at Ascot in August but is another untested in these conditions. After landing a Class 2 handicap on good to soft at Doncaster, Spanish Archer didn't run quite as well on soft ground at Haydock though is an obvious threat to the selection at a difference of only 4lb.
