WATCH CHAIN looks the one to be on after a fine third at Newmarket when hampered late on. Mark Tompkins' charge had previously scored in convincing style at Yarmouth with Black Baccara back in third and he can repeat the dose despite being 6lbs worse off with Leonna Mayor's mount, who looks the chief threat. The return of cheek-pieces will suit after he was too keen in blinkers last time, as will a step back up to six furlongs. The stiff finish will help Swansea Jack and he's unexposed but it might be against Boy The Bell, Thaliwarru has conditions to suit but the handicapper has him where he wants him and Dream Number may be a bigger threat as she's gone well on both starts here. Watch Chain arrives as the one to beat and doing so may prove beyond the rest.
