    Verdict

SKYLANCER drops into this grade for the first time and, greatly favoured by the weights, should prove hard to beat despite disappointing a little since joining Tim Vaughan. The Aberthin handler also saddles Flemensgael, who was second at Plumpton in October, but a bigger danger may be Verde Goodwood who was third over C&D last month and is now visored. Marino Prince was third in a Market Rasen claimer back over hurdles last time and should improve on that but he has to concede weight all round here, though his young rider claims 7lb.
