        Verdict

        A dire contest in which stakes should probably be kept to a minimum. Black Bubba is regularly placed at this level but is no world-beater and is not favoured by the weights according to the handicapper. Jack Nevison has a much higher rating than John O’Shea’s other runner Cooperess and went close a couple of times last year for Henry Candy but Spiritofedinburgh appears to be going backwards. BOURBONISTO drops into a seller for the first time and we’ll take a chance on his fitness as he showed promise in nurseries last year over this trip.
