      Verdict

      Raging Bear made a successful return to action at Lingfield three weeks ago but steps up in class and distance for this along with High Troja. The latter finished second on his reappearance on the Polytrack and makes more appeal over today's trip. Both East Texas Red, who beat the re-opposing Jebril, and Mad Jazz ended last year with victories in soft ground over a mile and have more on their plate here and a chance is taken on MOMBASA. Ralph Beckett's colt landed a maiden at Newbury in October and given he's a half-brother to three winners over middle-distances, there should be more to come over this longer trip.
