Verdict

POWER OF GOLD split a couple of more experienced rivals at Ayr last month on his debut. Out of a mare that has produced winners with her first three offspring to race, he is sure to have learned from the experience and will be fancied to go one better here. Godolphin’s Cannon Rock has already been gelded but is a half-brother to One Ruler, who won a Group 3 as a juvenile and ran in the 2000 Guineas and Derby last year. Bolster is a half-brother to a winner in France and Bohemian Breeze is out of mare who won at a good level in that country.
