The Lock Master arrives on the back of a win at Southwell and can race off a 13lb lower mark back on this surface. No wins in 19 starts on Turf tempers enthusiasm, however, and BOLD CROSS looks a safer option. He produced a late surge to score at Chepstow last time and looked good value for more than the official winning margin of a neck. This is no tougher and he's taken to follow-up with Nottingham winner Ice Nelly and lightly-raced top weight The High Man making most appeal of the remainder.
