        Verdict

        The Stoute yard has made a good start to the new season and Ryan Moore was on board Alex Vino when the latter scored at Lingfield in September. He should figure again along with Idder, who won over 7f at Newmarket in November. MONTALY was beaten a long way when runner-up to Hartnell over today's trip at Headquarters in the same month. But he still finished a street clear of the third and the the winner went on to place in the Group 1 Criterium at Saint-Cloud. Andrew Balding's charge gets the nod with the all-weather maiden winners Dragoon Guard, Arantes and Dubawi Light others to keep an eye on.
