Valseur Du Granval is well treated nowadays but looks on the downgrade, though must have some sort of chance in a very weak handicap. Paul Webber runs two in this with Go As You Please likely to start favourite again despite falling at the first at Ludlow last time. Stable companion Maxi Jazz made a promising start over fences when third at the same track and he finished ahead of Tierra Verde that day. BATTLEOFTHESOMME has slipped to a winnable mark and will be all the better for a run at Plumpton so gets the nod.
