In depth

Verdict

Trojan Star has yet to win a race of any description but only found one too good at Huntingdon last month. Take The Crown finished ahead of Midnight Chorister at Worcester in October and was then second at Bangor. The grey should be approaching peak fitness now and goes on the short-list but EXMOOR MIST's comeback third at Chepstow was probably a decent effort and he's been dropped 3lb since so gets the nod. Further rain would bring Sportsreport into the equation and he's preferred to Pembroke House of the others, though the latter's jumping was much better last time at Market Rasen.
