Verdict

Welluptoscratch has placed at Hereford and Plumpton since returning from a break but is now 0-12 over timber so offers little in the way of value. NAVAJO WAR DANCE will be all the better for last month’s fourth at Warwick in a much better race than this. He is also a maiden but far less exposed. Star Foot has shown little since a third at Kempton in April but Trans Express looks in decent form and should be thereabouts again, though still looks a few pounds too high. Sporty Yankee has much to prove at present.
