Gizmondo, Shogun Prince and Augustine are three against the field in a wide open handicap and the vote is given to Gizmondo. The selection won well last time out when beating Tangarita and although having a penzalty for that win he has plenty of scope for improvement and is taken to defy the handicapper under conditions that suit. Shogun Prince rates the main danger on his latest third behind Illustrious Blue and as he looks sure to improve for this longer trip he should be closely watched in the market. Augustine is another that could go well but he gave the impression the handicapper had caught up with him last time and he is opposed for that reason. Of the remainder Winners Delight is game and consistent and is sure to run his race while Custodian is from a shrewd yard and is another top note in the market but for the winner we return to Gizmondo off his light weight.
