In depth

Verdict

Channahrlie, Nephite and Captains Table are three against the field in a wide open handicap chase and the narrow vote is given to Channahrlie. The selection won well last time out when beating Sir Cumfrence and although he has a penal;penalty for that win he won with a little in hand and he is taken to defy the handicapper under conditions that suit. Captain's Table rates the main danger on his best form and although he was disappointing last time out he is sure to strip fitter here and should be noted in the market. Nephitre is another that could go well under his optimum conditions but he looks weighted to the hilt and for that reason he is opposed. Cassia Heights ran well last time but is better on a much softer surface while Adelphi Theatre continues to be beset by jumping problems and for the winner we return to the well handicapped Channahrlie.
