A competitive field goes to post for this handicap with many in form rivals in opposition including Shasta, Feather Boa and Crimson Dancer and we will take a chance on Shasta. The four year old won well last time out when defeating Saxe Coburg, he won with plenty in hand on that occasion and although he has risen in the weights he could still be ahead of the handicapper. Feather Boa rates the main danger he was a good third behind Tropical Coral last time and a reproduction of that effort would give him definite place claims. Crimson Dancer is also worth of consideration but he gave the impression the handicapper had caught up with him when second behind Eoz on the AW last time out. Of the remainder Top Of The Class continues in good form and could go well off her featherweight while Leave For Appeal has dropped to a handy mark and is worth noting in the market but we are happy to side with the bang in form Shasta.
