Downsman was a winner over course and distance last season but reappears on a 5lb higher mark. Noman has been very lightly raced so far, as has Kings Prince, while Sea Sylph ended up in Listed company in the autumn having won earlier at Windsor and Goodwood. Maketh Believeth should be winning on Turf this year but Resumption is having a first run on the surface. We’ll take a chance on LIFETIME LEGEND, who was 0-11 on the Flat in Ireland but did make the frame on several occasions. He would have won a maiden hurdle at Doncaster in February had he not fallen two out so fitness won’t be an issue.
