The forecast good going on the chase course may prove a problem for recent Chepstow winner Moonlighter and Family Business, who won on soft ground at Fontwell earlier. But the returning TEXARD (NAP) will be at home on this surface judged on a double at Uttoxeter last summer and he gets the vote. Go Steady has been well beaten either side of winning at Lingfield while Ballyhome has had just the one outing since 2021, though is back on a winning mark.
