It's difficult to know what to make of Sic Et Non, who is from the first crop of the smart stayer Forestier out of a useful jumper. He pulled up on his only start between the flags in 2014 but now with the champion trainer he'll be expected to pay his way. The four-year-old Copernicus started favourite in a similar race here last month and led in the straight but could only stay on at one pace when headed. FOXEARTH made his debut in what looked a decent bumper at Limerick and was going on at the finish once the penny dropped. Some rain would probably aid his cause but he should improve and looks the one to be on. Big Bad Brian followed a very good run over hurdles with another in a Galway bumper and Jamie Codd's presence in the saddle suggests he'll be in contention.
