Verdict

GRETZKY began this year with two quick victories at Dundalk and ran well from much higher marks in the spring. If he can reproduce that improvement over hurdles he can gain his first hurdling success. Luimneach Abu has been handed a 5lb rise for his victory at Wexford where the quick ground obviously suited while Sizing Solution can do better than he showed at Clonmel where a first-flight error appeared to unsettle him. Denis Hogan has been amongst the winners as usual and his recent acquisition Tirmoyle has dropped to a mark the Tipperary trainer can exploit so a market watch is advised.
