In depth

Verdict

Several of these have been in good form at Dundalk including The Mouse Doctor, who landed a maiden in February and ran well in a handicap last month behind Spruce Meadows, who dead-heated with Stone Mountain and is only 3lb higher. Fair Game was unlucky in-running there last month before a good run on testing ground at Sligo, though this will be her first start over the trip. Emily Square won a maiden here in August but was well beaten in a very strong Naas nursery later while Cresendo could only stay on at one pace when favourite at Gowran. ASPEN MOUNTAIN (NAP) won a Dundalk maiden in November and wasn't seen again until the beginning of this month when he did well to finish a close fourth in a huge field at the Curragh. With that under his belt, he's taken to return to winning ways.
