    Verdict

Melon, EASY GAME and Cilaos Emery have all been wonderful servants for Willie Mullins. The former beat Doctor Duffy eight lengths at Cork but would prefer some cut in the ground, a remark that also applies to Sizing Pottsie. EASY GAME beat Cilaos Emery seven lengths in a Fairyhouse Grade 2 last time but pulled up in this a year ago when Samcro was successful. He bounced back from that poor run to be beaten a length in the Galway Plate and looks the one to beat. Samcro lost the plot after last year's success though did manage to get round in the Grand National while Gin On Lime scored by 12 lengths at the fixture a year ago and went on to complete a hat-trick.
