In depth

Verdict

Ronava was having only his fifth start over hurdles when gaining a very impressive victory at Wexford and though raised 11lb his young rider claims almost half back and another big effort is expected. Benalex Park has been attracting support which he's been unable to justify though he should be winning again soon from this sort of mark as should Curragh Golan, who has twice finished behind the in-form Diamondgeezer Luke in the past few weeks. FANTASTIC BOB beat the latter when returning to quick ground for the first time in a while at Listowel and with the form working out so well he can defy a 5lb rise in the weights and complete a double. Behemoth didn't stay 3m at Wexford and is better judged on his close third over this sort of trip at Tramore earlier.
