Dermot Weld won the first running of this last year and Lanyard, a winner on heavy going last season, will have come on for his recent run at Gowran. PIT STOP had subsequent winner Magnolia Beach in second when making a successful debut at Dundalk in October and the latter had Colour Blue behind in a Listed contest there last month. Michael Halford's charge has some improving to do but is handed the vote to remain unbeaten.
