Verdict

Several of these should have won over hurdles by now including CHUTE HALL, who second to Faugheen at Punchestown in November sets the standard. He started favourite on his return to action at Naas in March but may just have needed the run and can put matters right here. Millie Le Bach found 2m on the short side at Sligo and the winning point-to-pointer will be much more at home over this trip but it's Like It A Lot who looks the main threat. Paul Nolan's charge had shown promise in bumpers before a very encouraging debut over timber at Cork where he was staying on so strongly at the end of that 2m trip that he would have won in a few more strides. Circe's Island should also be suited by the step-up and the four-year-old has to be a threat with her huge allowances coming into play.
