Lust is up 5lb for landing a Gowran maiden under Colin Keane but Ger Lyons puts up Sam Ewing on the beautifully-bred son of Fastnet Rock and his claim is a massive plus. The Piano Player didn't show much in 6f and7f maidens on testing ground in the autumn but the €300,000 son of No Nay Never was always likely to do better as a three-year-old, a remark that also applies to Emphatic Answer who is by the same sire.
