Pride Of The Artic isn't quite the forlorn hope his figures suggest as he looked very promising when completing a four-timer in 2012 and hasn't had much racing subsequently. He was behind Lambro in last year's Galway Plate and the latter looked in need of the run on his reappearance at Punchestown. Down In Neworleans also completed a four-timer in 2012 including a Grade 3. He didn't reappear until March where he was soon in trouble in a Grade 2 won by Bog Warrior at Navan and is best watched today. BAILY GREEN finished runner-up that day having previously fallen when in contention in the Champion Chase. He's since run well behind Sizing Europe in the Punchestown equivalent and he should be capable of beating Foildubh in receipt of 7lb though John Ryan's veteran can never be ruled out having won eight times in a long and successful career.
