Spring Morning has been waiting for the ground to ease having won comfortably at Tipperary in June and she's run well after a break in the past. The versatile Itsalonglongroad gained the seventh victory of his career at Thurles last week and is still on a very fair mark despite a penalty. Noble Crusade's second at Navan last week could be given a boost by runner-up Gudrun Genberg in the previous race but VOCAL QUEEN catches the eye at the bottom of the handicap. She'd only shown moderate form before a vastly improved run at Navan and though 2lb out of the handicap her rider can claim her full 10lb allowance this time. Mr Mills made a promising handicap debut at Tipperary though that was back in April.
