In depth

Verdict

Loreto beat subsequent dual winner Tandem on heavy ground at Naas and can't have been at her best when beaten a long way at Galway. She's expected to bounce back but Mudaffar was a bit disappointing on his handicap debut at the Curragh after his maiden success at Ballinrobe. The veteran Maundy Money has been running well without quite getting there and probably found 7f too short last time while Big Bad Billy Bob is well suited by track and trip and looks well enough treated to make a bold bid. OCEAN DRIFT won a Warwick maiden for Godolphin in 2010 and has joined Andy Oliver. He had his first start for the yard at the Curragh last month where he caught the eye behind Jembatt and with that under his belt is taken to start making up for lost time.
