GANGSTER, three times a winner over hurdles including a Grade 3, had four runs over fences in better company just over a year ago and performed well. A recent spin over timber will have put him spot-on and he can start the new campaign with a victory. Eshtiaal managed to win five times over hurdles and makes his chasing bow. He hasn't run since 2016 but Gordon Elliott will have him ready. The lightly-raced Uaintseenothingyet was in touch and going strongly when falling at the second last at Fairyhouse in November and it shouldn't be long before he makes amends while bumper and hurdles winner Kagney was in winning form when last seen in late 2016 and has a cracking pedigree for chasing. Inis Meain has been very busy and ran in the charity race at Punchestown on Saturday. He's probably still got another victory over fences in him though could find a few of these too strong. Camlann, four times a winner over hurdles, is another to keep an eye on.
