Verdict

Conrad Hastings won at this time last year but has struggled for some time now and drops down in class. Draycott Place ran poorly last time having won at Listowel earlier while though Cecil Corbett came out best at Downpatrick recently he meets tougher opposition in this. Steel Wave and William Du Berlais are others upped in class and preference is for TEACHER’S PET. The latter gave notice of a return to form when runner-up at Limerick last month ahead of a subsequent winner and may prove good enough today.
